Gaia U Graduate and Process Advisor Karen Stupski, alumna of both Harvard and John Hopkins Universities, is developing a Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for Gaia University based at Heathcote Ecovillage in Maryland, U.S.A.

Karen is an educator, watershed organization consultant, and college instructor of women’s and environmental studies and U.S. History. Prior to her enrollment in Gaia University's Post Masters Diploma program she received degrees from Harvard and John Hopkins Universities. She lives in
Heathcote Ecovillage
in Maryland, USA where she coordinates an internship program in sustainable living strategies.
Karen is currently developing a Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for Gaia University based at Heathcote community.
During her Gaia U year some of her accomplishments were coordinating an internship program in natural building and sustainable community living at Heathcote, writing grants for the watershed organization, and starting to earn her livelihood from her own business as a sustainability educator.
Upon graduating from Gaia U, Karen received a position teaching on the
ScholarShip: an academic program aboard a transformed passenger ship hosting students on semester-long voyages around the world.

|
"I want to develop and implement a curriculum for a 6-week program in sustainable community living at Heathcote next summer that is oriented towards college students. I will also begin working as an Advisor with Gaia University and continue to plan the program for the Gaia Mid-Atlantic Regional Center."
