Associate Stories
Richard Kuhnel & Shadia Fayne Wood

richardk.jpgThe work of Gaia University Masters Graduate Richard Kuhnel was the topic of a recent article in the New York Times Magazine . After his graduation from Gaia, Kuhnel founded the Sandpoint Idaho Transition Town Initiative. Sandpoint has now become the first Transition Town project in the US to “unleash” by engaging with the broader community in creating a strategic plan towards complete self-reliance and resiliency! Find out more about the Sandpoint Transition town Initiative as well as the world-wide Transition Town movement by following this link. As we continue to strengthen our alliance, Gaia U will be offering a two-day workshop called “Training for Transition” at the Thrivability Institute in Ashland , Oregon , August 15-16, immediately preceding the Gaia U Orientation program. More information on this and other trainings can be found on our website, at gaiauniversity.org.
