Start-of-Year Content Workshops
Those associates enrolled in multi-year programs will attend a start-of-year content and skill-flex training workshop at the beginning of the second and where appropriate third year.
Some associates will take their start-of-year content workshops in their local communities and will choose them based on their own interests in consultation with their main advisor. Others may attend workshops or events offered by an allied association. These provide rich and inspirational content that is highly relevant for Gaia U associates. Examples of start-of-year workshops we have accredited in the past are: Financial Permaculture, Advanced Permaculture Design, Permaculture Teacher Training, the Bioneers Conference, Urban Village Building Design and Advanced Integrative Ecosocial Design. Due to the large variation in the fees for these start of year workshops they are not included in program fees and arrangements are made directly with the course provider.
